A pickleball group has recently been set up and meets on a Friday afternoon 3 to 5pm in the Main Hall at East Horsley Village Hall. Members of the group have not all played pickleball before but the idea is mainly to have fun playing whilst learning the game.
If you have never heard of Pickleball before here is a short summary of the game:

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and is played on a badminton-sized court where the net has been lowered. Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball, over the net.  The smaller court reduces the amount of movement required which is why it appeals to older people. When people become more experienced at playing it can also be a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game.  It is also very good fun!

Although the Friday group is full we would like to set up another group soon so if you would like to find out more about playing pickleball please contact:
