Horsley U3A is offering CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training to its members.
This follows an earlier incident during a U3A activity when a Horsley U3A member was resuscitated by three participants who knew how to undertake CPR.
The training will focus on CPR and dealing with a cardiac emergency. Participants will get hands-on training and practise with a defibrillator machine. Up to 5 sessions are planned each with up to 3 trainers and up to 30 participants. The sessions will be heald at the Horsley Scout Hut on the 4th Tuesday of each month starting May 27th. Tickets are free but we will be seeking donations to the Scouts and to the Heart Start charity.
