With the changes to the advice being offered by the UK government on staying safe during the Covid-19 pandemi, from Monday it may be possible to allow groups of 6 members or less to hold group meetings.
One option is to suggest that small groups of members (currently up to 6 is allowed) could meet in the garden of one member provided sensible precautions are followed about social distancing. One group considering this option is Open Minds. It is being suggested that the meeting host can restrict the number of those attending to suit the arrangements available, e.g. no. of garden chairs, space available to arrange the chairs so that each contributor is 2m from an ajacent member. It may be that the number of people being allowed to meet can increase to more than 6 provided the same spacing arrangements prevail.
