The History Group has a full and eclectic programme of talks, by both members and external speakers, on a wide variety of historical topics. We have meetings in the East Horsley Village Hall, with Zoom participation for members unable to attend in person.
This programme reflects the wide range of member interests. We expect it to evolve in line with those interests. New member are welcome.
Experiences of WW2
The History Group are also embarking on a WW2 project, consisting of oral interviews with people - u3a members and friends - with personal memories of those years. These will be transcribed and used in our future programme
