A group of those who enjoy writing. Our aim is to enhance and develop our ability to create interesting prose and/or poetry, to write short stories on a variety of subjects and perhaps even write a novel or play! Our meetings are relaxed and enjoyable. Members read others' contributions and benefit from feedback. Contributions sent by e-mail are welcome from those not wishing to attend meetings. We have already compiled one anthology of our work, which is available by clicking on the image below, and intend to compile a second one in the coming year.

Creative Writing Group - A New Anthology

Members of the Horsley u3a Creative Writing have compiled an anthology of their recently written stories and poems.  They were chosen by the authors as examples of their work during his period.  This is the 2nd anthology of the stories compiled by the members of the group and is due to be followed by a 3rd anthology in due course.
