The Explore London group members organise an easy walking tour in a different area of London each month, to learn about the historical, architectural, cultural, and scenic features of each neighbourhood.  About once a year, group members (often working in pairs) take turns to choose a route and lead a walk.  Expeditions are usually on foot over a distance of 3-4 miles with adequate breaks for coffee/tea and lunch.  Past visits have included locations as diverse as Chelsea, Wapping, Battersea, Soho, Covent Garden, Blackheath and the city of London.  Parties are normally limited to 12 including the organisers.
